it's funny that people seem to want their kids to be above 8 pounds.  i had my daughter a year and a half ago. she has a cousin that's 10 months older and my husband kept saying, "you have to keep her in a little longer, we have to beat 8 lbs 4 oz."  i said, "no honey, you don't understand, the woman with the biggest baby LOSES."
